HOW MUCH DOES PRESSURE WASHING COST?

DO I HAVE TO BE HOME WHEN YOU ARE WORKING?

Generally speaking, you do not need to be home; although, payment methods must be handled appropriately. Either way, we ask that you close all windows and doors, secure pets indoors, remove items, such as planters or chairs, from work areas.

WHY SHOULD I HIRE A COMPANY INSTEAD OF JUST RENTING A PRESSURE WASHER?

You hire a professional pressure washing company for convenience, for your safety, and to assure optimal results. The area to be cleaned (height, type of surface, hardness, etc.) affects the type of cleaning solution needed, nozzle selections, pressure, and more. Additionally, some cleaning jobs require working at elevated heights, special extensions, extra hose lengths, and other things that can’t be done by simply renting a portable pressure washing system. Inconsistent applications and improper cleaning methods or detergents can damage paint surfaces or cause streaks and blotched areas on your property. We strongly advise against hiring pressure washing freelancers found in classified ads or sites like Craigslist for similar reasons.

DO YOU USE MY WATER SOURCE OR HAVE A TANK ON YOUR TRUCK?

Either is possible. The cost for our service is less if we utilize your fresh water source. We do have trailer mounted water tanks available. It is worth mentioning that we cannot use water from ponds, creeks, or other non-potable sources. We will always provide the appropriate cleaning detergents and solutions for your project. DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS, COUPONS, OR SPECIALS?

Yes! We often offer specials and discounts. An example is a discount for combining multiple services on the same trip (i.e., house + driveway + deck). Winter rates are typically discounted simply because this is a slower time of year for the pressure washing industry.

AFTER MY DECK IS CLEAN, WHAT ABOUT SEALING MY DECK?

We offer deck sealing services. Cleaning your wood deck can extend the life of the deck, however, deck sealing is the secret to greatly extending the life of the wood. Our deck restoration services not only improve its aesthetic value, but also make your deck easier to keep clean. Replacing rotted boards, splitting wood, securing loose balusters, spindles, and rails can be included in our deck maintenance.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN “PRESSURE WASHING” AND “POWER WASHING”?

There is no difference. These terms are interchangeable and refer to the same type of hydro-cleaning processes.

WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT FOR CLEANING, PSI OR GPM?

Both play critical roles in the pressure washing process. Gallons per minute (GPM) is the amount of water flow, and per square inch (PSI) defines pounds of force per square inch. PSI matters for getting the water delivered with enough force to “scrub,” while GPM matters for the rinsing needs. Too much PSI can damage door seals, crack windows, crack brittle vinyl siding, and cause other damage.
